  11. Creating a custom Splash Screen

  13. iView Multimedia can run a "splash" screen everytime it is launched. This can be useful for schools, and corporations to show their logos and also to companies that may want to include iView with their product and have their logo displayed.

  15. There is an example "splash" screen file located in the "Splash Screen" directory that comes with the iView Multimedia installation. To activate the splash screen you need to place the "splash" file inside the "Plug-ins" folder in the folder containing the iView Multimedia application.

  17. You can easily customise the "splash" screen with your own image, using a resource editing application such as ResEdit.
